Airstars is a residential heating and air conditioning company based in Hayward, California. The business was founded by Rafael and Juan Barrios and is run as a family company.
Most of our work is repair, replacement and maintenance of the systems Bay Area homes actually have. That means central air conditioners and gas furnaces in older ranch houses, heat pumps and ductless mini-splits in newer builds and additions, and attic ductwork that has been extended more than once. We also clean and seal ducts, improve filtration for wildfire smoke season and handle home plumbing.
Our service area starts in the East Bay, from Hayward, Oakland, Fremont and San Leandro out to Pleasanton, Livermore, San Ramon and Walnut Creek. It runs south through Milpitas, San Jose, Santa Clara, Sunnyvale, Cupertino and Palo Alto, and east to Sacramento, Elk Grove, Folsom, Stockton, Tracy, Manteca and Lodi. We work on the equipment brands homeowners already own, including Carrier, Daikin, Goodman, LG, Trane, Mitsubishi, York, Heil, Lennox, Rheem and Ruud. When a repair makes sense we say so, and when replacement is the better call we explain why before we quote it. We would rather fix the fault that is actually there than sell a system the house does not need.
