How often should I have my air ducts cleaned?
The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) recommends cleaning every 3 to 5 years. However, if you have pets, smoke indoors, or have residents with allergies, you may benefit from more frequent cleaning (every 2 years).
Will duct cleaning make a mess in my house?
No. We use drop cloths to protect your floors and furniture. Our vacuum equipment creates a closed loop, meaning the dust goes directly from your vents into our truck—it never enters your living space.
How long does the process take?
For a standard 3-bedroom home in the Bay Area, the process typically takes 3 to 5 hours. We take the time to clean every supply vent, return vent, and the main trunk line.
Can you remove mold from ducts?
Yes. If we identify mold growth, we use specialized biocide treatments to kill the mold and prevent it from returning. However, we also investigate why the mold grew (usually moisture issues) to solve the root problem.
